How is the Due Date Calculated?
This calculator uses Naegele's rule, the standard medical calculation for pregnancy. It adds 280 days (40 weeks) to the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). It also adjusts automatically if your cycle is shorter or longer than the standard 28 days.
Remember, only about 4% of babies are born on their exact due date. It is an estimation, and your doctor will provide the most accurate timeline using ultrasound measurements.
