This calculator uses the US Navy Tape Measure method to estimate your body fat percentage. It is widely considered the most accurate estimation method outside of a clinical DEXA scan.
How to Measure Correctly
- Neck: Measure below the larynx (Adam's apple) sloping slightly downward to the front.
- Waist: Measure horizontally around the narrowest part of the abdomen (usually just above the navel).
- Hips (Women Only): Measure horizontally around the widest part of the hips and buttocks.
